RACE For those that want the ultimate in handling‹and an over-the-top, highly aggressive look-H&R Race Springs are the perfect solution. H&R Race Springs will lower your vehicle approximately 2.2 inches in the front and 1.3 in the rear and should be matched with high-quality, sport-tuned shock absorbers. H&R's new Triple C Camber Adjusters are also highly recommended. Race springs are best suited to racing and occasional street use. Ask your H&R Specialist for application guidelines.

SPORT The most popular spring in H&R's line-up, Sport Springs will lower your vehicle 1.4 inches in the front and 1.0 in the rear for a lower center of gravity, improved handling and a more aggressive appearance. Sport springs feature a spring rate that is firmer than that of the OE Sport spring, but is still comfortable enough for daily use. Sport springs are an excellent choice for street and occasional track use. Not Cabrio

Race and sport springs available from $239 to $249

As with most springs these can either be installed by a qualified shop or you can rent a spring compressor from most autoparts stores and install them your self in a few hours. The ride comfort with the Sport model will be a tad more firm than stock, while the Race version will be noticably more firm than stock but the benifits greatly out wiegh the stock rates when it comes to aggressive or performance oriented driving. Here's a pic of a car on H&R Sport lowering springs. Keep in mind that the BMW is resting on a set of 19's...
