what is the condition of the driveshaft? i may be interested in that
Perfect. Has a new flex disc and center bearing on it too! Even has the paint lines from when I took it apart [hihi]

Your car a manual? I'd sell it for $80 + s/h (thats what they go for on the 'bay, plus it comes with a brand new flex disc and center bearing!! So really its like getting a free driveshaft [hihi])

sorry i meant had to buy.... i had to buy one for over 300 dollars a few months back and it didn't even come with a flex disk.

ya man even with 20+ shipping that is a steal! i'd be all over it if mine was bad.

on another note i am again car-less for a few days until another engine mount comes in. My other engine mount blew up. dang i think they were on timers. So my fan got stuck again.... my new friggin fan clutch... it didn't blow out yet though. I caught it in time and i'm not going to drive it until the new mount comes in hopefully today.... if i have to buy another fan clutch i'll be so pissed. perhaps if i do yours (eric) will be available if not damaged?

Try finding some steel cups that will fit over the engine mount. They will limit movement a little bit (not entirely!!) and probably make them last longer. (and have been used forever by racing teams).

(It's just 2 small metal cups that go over the end of the stock mount and leave a little bit of space in between the cups so a little movement is still allowed. You could probably get someone to fabricate them for $20)

Mine are pretty old - not damaged but old.

wow those are actually pretty sweet. but dang thats some cash for them... yikes.

I dunno about them breaking when you go to race or autocross though like they say on that website. I mean i have been beating my car as if i autocross it just about every day for the last year. I think they were just getting old. but i'll find out soon enough cause i'm not going to be easier on it. If it breaks again i'll definitely look into those cups....

thanks!

Oh I totally agree. Maybe if you had your engine and car totally tuned, but mine sure wasn't.

Yup I'll keep it for a while. In fact I'd sell it with the flywheel and a new clutch!! Put the clutch on with a friends help 2 weeks before the accident, talk about needing to [drinking] [:(!]
